Jef Koons' sculpture Balloon Monkey (magenta) is going to be sold at Christie's later in the month, with a presale estimate between 6 million and 10 million dollars. Anything earned from the sale is going to fund Humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, in particular, assisting those wounded in the war.

Victor and Olena Pinchuk are selling the work, and are one of the most influential couples in ukraine. Victor is the founder of the EastOne Group, a financial and investment advisor firm in London. He also founded the Interpipe group, one of Ukraine's leading wheel, pipe and steel producers. Victor also served 2 terms in the Ukranian Parliament between 1998 and 2006, with an estimated net worth of $2 billion.

The Balloon Monkey is the largest and final piece in Koon's celebrated series of balloon animals. Its made with mirror-polished stainless steel, with a transparent colour coating.
