Josefi's journey began with a simple question: Could the cold, rigid nature of stainless steel be transformed into something elegant, wearable, and even comfortable? The answer came in the form of 3D-printed shoes, created using stainless steel powder that was laser sintered layer by layer, resulting in intricate, lightweight designs. But these weren’t just for show. The shoes were designed with careful attention to ergonomics, ensuring that they could be worn as part of an avant-garde fashion statement. The result was a striking blend of technology and fashion, a perfect marriage of metal and artistry.

Following the success of his initial designs, Josefi launched the "Women of Steel" collection, featuring dresses adorned with over 18,000 hand-stitched stainless steel sequins. The collection was not just a demonstration of the metal’s versatility, but a statement about strength, resilience, and the beauty of industrial materials in the world of high fashion.

Stainless steel may seem like an unusual choice for fashion, but it has many benefits. Its corrosion resistance ensures that even the most complex designs maintain their shine over time. Additionally, it is fully recyclable, making it a sustainable choice for future designers. You might need to add some comfy insoles though!

We don't make stainless steel shoes, but we do design and make fashionable products, like our stainless steel kitchens. From freestanding storage units to wall cupboards, shelving and under-sink cabinets, plus fully-integrated stainless steel kitchen worktops. And finally to finish with.... Do you know why the stainless steel shoe became a model? Because it always knew how to shine on the runway!
