If you fancy a chair, for the front room, that’s just ‘a little bit different from your usual pocket sprung with scatter cushions’ then this might be just the thing. Behold the beautiful ‘stainless-wood chair no.2 series’ by ByungSub Kim and Minchae Kang. Constructed with Stainless Steel and Najeonchilgi. I think you’ll all agree the finished chair is quite striking, to say the least. Najeonchilgi, incase you didn’t know, is a kind of traditional Korean crafting where colourful and vibrant pieces of shellfish are inlaid… a bit like mother-of-pearl lacquerware.

ByungSub Kim and Minchae Kang are known for their ‘combination of traditional korean craftsmanship using unfamiliar materials’, and this is their new interpretation of ‘korean things’.

Unfortunately we don’t sell chairs, however we do manufacture Stainless Steel Sit on Sinks !! Packed with just the same obsession with craftsmanship… but no Najeonchilgi.
